Tracklist of any Mixcloud mix
Mixcloud is home to radio shows, residencies and long mixes. Some uploaders add the tracklist, many don't, and it rarely shows the exact minute. Paste the link and TracklistScanner listens to the mix and gives you each track with the moment it starts.
How to copy the link
- On the computer, open the mix and copy the address from the browser bar (mixcloud.com/user/mix-name/).
- On the phone, tap the share icon of the mix and choose Copy link.
- Paste it above and press the button. The free version analyzes the start of the show.
For better results
- Use the link of one show or mix, not of the user's profile.
- Shows that are exclusive to subscribers of a channel can't be listened to.
- Radio shows with talking between tracks work: speech is simply left out of the list.
Questions
The mix already shows a tracklist on Mixcloud. What is this for?
To check it and to get the minute of each track, which Mixcloud often hides or doesn't have. It also covers mixes that were uploaded without a tracklist.
Does it work with radio shows that last several hours?
Yes. With the subscription we analyze up to about 5 hours per link; the free version covers the start of the mix.
Why are some tracks missing?
We listen to a fragment roughly every two minutes. Very short tracks, long transitions and unreleased music are harder to find. We never invent a result.
Do I need a Mixcloud account?
No. You only need the public link of the mix.
